A couple of weeks ago, a man who decided to take his boat out for a spin in the waters of Tutka Bay, Alaska, got the chance to witness an amazing scene.

Thus, a mother otter managed to escape a group of killer whales which were hunting it by jumping in the back of a small boat.

Needless to say, the boat happened to be in the right place, at the right moment.

Unfortunately, the otter's baby got eaten by the whales, but those who witnessed this animal's daring escape argue that the otter was most inspired when deciding to seek refuge in the back of the boat.

Although killer whales are known to be highly intelligent marine mammals, it seems that this particular otter somehow managed to outsmart them and escape their terrifying jaws.
