Just a short while ago, a video of Matt Kemp giving his jersey and hat to a fan in San Francisco emerged online and went viral shortly afterwards. The other day, Kemp flew the fan out of Los Angeles for an amazing visit to Dodger Stadium.

The fan’s name is Joshua Jones and he is a terminally ill cancer patient. USA Today Sports says he “suffer[s] from inoperable tumors on his spine.”

He has only a few months to live and, in paying for his and his family’s trip to LA and spending time with him, Kemp did a wonderful thing.

Check out the video below to see Jones and his dad on the field during batting practice. Kemp even introduced them to Mike Trout, but also to many of his team mates.
