Jason Voorhees freaks out an entire neighborhood courtesy of an online trickster

One of the most enduring horror franchises of all times is, without a doubt, the “Friday the 13th” series with Jason Voorhees. Jason returned this year courtesy of one online trickster in what is dubbed as the creepiest, most dangerous and, yes, funny prank ever.

You can see it in full above.

Those not familiar with Jason’s backstory, suffice it to say that he’s always hiding behind a hokey mask and is armed with a chainsaw. He’s also indestructible for the very simple reason that he’s not alive.

The prankster thought it would be a good idea to torment his neighbors by putting on a mask and picking up a chainsaw which, he says, didn’t have any blades on. Still, the neighbors had no way of knowing that and their reaction was one of panic.

There’s no denying that the prank was funny but I can’t help feeling surprised the prankster pulled it off without getting hurt.

As for what gave him away, that would be the fact that he ran after his “victims”: everyone knows that villains in horror movies (including Jason) never run. They always catch up to their victims without as much as breaking a sweat, by walking.
