This one is for the thousands, if not millions, of fans who thought the first official photo of The Joker in “Suicide Squad,” released by director David Ayer on Twitter last weekend (below), was the most disappointing and heartbreaking thing ever.

You are no longer alone: the man who played the famous Batman villain in 1989 in “Batman,” Jack Nicholson, feels the same way as you do. This iteration of The Joker is bad enough to make you want to sob uncontrollably and unashamedly.

Today’s Viral of the Day is a variation on one of the most emotional scenes in “About Schmidt,” which, thanks to a little image trickery, is made to play out as if Nicholson bursts into tears at the sight of the new Joker.

His expression ranges from confused / shocked, to sad and then back to disbelief again, and a trace of amusement as well. It’s exactly what many fans also experienced when they saw the pic and understood that The Joker was now a fan of (ridiculous) tattoos with his own fanart.

“Reaction” videos like this one have started taking over the Internet in recent months. The latest is now nearing 10 million views and is of Matthew McConaughey reacting to the new “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” trailer.
