Viral of the Day: Honest Trailer for “Paranormal Activity”

Many horror movie fans and critics saw in “Paranormal Activity” the modern equivalent of “Blair Witch Project” but, clearly, not the same goes for the guys at Screen Junkies. Above is their Honest Trailer for the first installment in the series.

As it must already be known, the appeal of “PA” was its very simplicity, which made it completely relatable and, as such, ten times scarier than it could have been with an elaborate plot, a bigger cast and millions in VFX.

Yet this is precisely what the Honest Trailer thrashes it for: this is a movie about nothing, starring no one and that is bound to make you feel… completely bored.

I can’t agree with the Honest Trailer above but, in all fairness, I can understand why it was made. Plus, it’s hysterical.
