14 DAY TRIAL // As “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” is about to premiere worldwide in theaters and most likely break all sorts of box office records, this Honest Trailer for the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy is bound to make you relive some of the magic – and not only.
The guys from Screen Junkies have long made a tradition of sorts of their Honest Trailers, and, as of late, they’re also accepting requests.
Seeing how “The Hobbit” is so near wide release, they thought “LOTR” would suit just fine. And that, it does.
Not only is “LOTR” incredibly long, overpopulated by ridiculously named characters and CGI dangers and monsters, but it’s also flawed, riddled with absurdities and sappy, the trailer above says.
And yes, spoiler: Sean Bean dies.
At the very least, we should find some consolation in knowing it stars Homeless Magneto, Gwyneth Paltrow and a very ugly Lindsay Lohan.
I kid. Fans know that “Lord of the Rings” is one of the best movie trilogies ever.
