KTLA’s morning news weatherman Henry DiCarlo got pranked big time on the live telecast, as he was reading the shoutouts for the day. Check it out in the video below.

As is customary on the show, DiCarlo wished happy birthday to a bunch of people, among whom there was a 10-year-old kid named Hugh Janus.

Go ahead, read that once more, this time faster and you’ll get the gist of the joke.

DiCarlo’s reaction was nothing short of amazing, especially since he took a few seconds until he realized what he’d just said but, when he did, he simply couldn’t stop giggling.

Live TV, he said, is made of these things. This was the proof that no segment of the show was taped.

On the other hand, he also mused, if there really was a boy out there named Hugh Janus, he’d feel sorry for him for being named that.
