14 DAY TRIAL // From what we’ve seen so far from the upcoming film “Fifty Shades of Grey,” the biggest problem with the film will be the lack of chemistry between the two leads, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson. For a movie that is all about uncontrollable passion, that’s not just a minor bump in the road.
Because these two seem to have nothing in common and zero chemistry, rumor online has it that they actually hate and / or despise each other. Again, if true, this could be a huge problem since they have to do at least 2 more movies together, part of the same franchise.
We can’t know for sure if they hate each other, but all who have eyes can see that they’re lacking in the chemistry department. Which is why today’s suggestion for Viral of the Day is amazing: here is a video that shows how “Fifty Shades of Grey” would look if it were a cross with “The Lego Movie.”
Antonio Toscano remade the entire first trailer for the film using Legos, and yes, his characters actually manage to have more chemistry than the leads chosen by Universal Pictures. The only exception is probably the elevator scene, but we’ll let that one slide.
Now, if after seeing this, you’re still interested in the real deal, you should know that you don’t have to wait for much longer for it: “Fifty Shades of Grey” opens wide on January 13, just in time for Valentine’s Day. If your idea of a perfect Valentine is torturing your special someone by having him sit through it.
