If you don't know what “Evil Dead” is, you're probably too young to be reading this. To honor the film franchise that wrote the horror history and inspired countless other films, Daniel Kanemoto has created the most awesome animated short film ever.

Inspired by a similar project by another franchise fan, Kanemoto of ExMortisFilms has come up with an idea for a film no longer than 2 minutes that would pay tribute to the horror franchise.

He did just that – and then some.

“Follow the evil that roams through the dark bowers of man's domain in this [guts]-to-the-wall animated tribute to the sights, sounds and unforgettable characters of Sam Raimi’s iconic EVIL DEAD trilogy!” Daniel writes in the description of the video.

“This is my cinematic love letter to three influential movies that made me want to be a filmmaker: EVIL DEAD, EVIL DEAD 2, and ARMY OF DARKNESS,” he adds.

He also says that he's excited about the “Evil Dead” remake and is even open to the idea of coming up with possible titles for it.
