Viral of the Day: Drunk Businessman Walks Down Subway Escalator

A Japanese man is caught on tape in the subway, attempting to walk down to the platform. He tries for a while with proud determination, not realizing he is, in fact, going the wrong way.

This clip was captured at Tottenham Court Road in London, in the UK, the Sun clarifies. Other commuters try to help him, but soon come to the conclusion that he is completely and utterly intoxicated, and most give up.

“At first I thought he was playing silly buggers with a few of his FX Trader mates but when we saw his dogged stagger and realized he was alone, I knew we were about to witness something truly brilliant,” witness Sam Napper hilariously puts it.

This clip is funny, but I don't think pushing the man out of their way while they were in a rush was as amusing for other people using the escalator.

Inexplicably, his struggle went on and on, although there seem to have been commuters who stayed behind to get him on the right path.
