14 DAY TRIAL // David Letterman stepped down from CBS’ The Late Show after over 2 decades of headlining it, and one of his final guests was good friend and comedy legend Bill Murray. During the show, Murray drank vodka straight out of a bottle after popping out of a giant cake, and apparently he got so drunk that, by the end of the evening, he couldn’t even stand on his own anymore.
Or sit on a chair.

That’s Bill Murray stopping by MSNBC’s The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell. Stopping by is a bit of an understatement, as he literally wandered on set, looking completely out of it. He then sat on a chair, unaware that it was not in the right position for him to recline on it, so, when he did do that, he fell down. Hard.
Earlier in the night, Murray did the Letterman appearance, where the cake popping and vodka drinking happened, but he was also spotted out to dinner. Paparazzi website TMZ says that he was fairly intoxicated when he left the restaurant.
