First, it was Antoine Dodson with “hide yo kids, hide yo wife” and the “spinoff” “Bed Intruder Song.” The Internet has found again reason to giggle when something really troubling happens: enter Charles Ramsey, the latest viral star.

Ramsey is the man believed to have saved the life of Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus, who had been reported missing a decade ago, and Michelle Knight, after Berry ran to his house and told him to help her and call the cops.

Above is his account of the events. *Please note that some discretion is recommended for language that might offend.

The video has long gone viral, as part of the so-called trend of funny neighbors recalling serious events for TV cameras, in which Dodson also fits.

Ramsey is certainly funny and animated, and clearly eager to share his adventure with the world but, if you think about it, he’s also truly amazing for helping out a human being he perceived to be in distress.

For that – and probably for much more – he deserves to be a star, if only a viral one.
