14 DAY TRIAL // Conservationists working with the Amboseli Trust for Elephants have recently helped rescue a baby elephant which had accidentally fallen into a well dug by tribesmen in Kenya.
Apparently, elephant calves go through such experiences on quite a regular basis, and more often than not there is nobody around to help them get out of trouble.
Luckily for the little guy in this footage, the people who came to his rescue knew exactly what they were doing.
Thus, they first chased away his mother, so that it won't attack them, and then proceeded to use ropes and muscle power to get the calf out of the well.
In spite of spending quite a lot of time trapped in the well, the baby elephant showed no signs of disorientation or wobbliness when it came to running off to be reunited with its mother.
