Rumor has it that Ariana Grande is one of the worst divas working in showbiz right now, and considering she’s merely 21 years old, that’s not necessarily something to be proud of. Apparently, she’s mean and unprofessional, demanding and demeaning, unkind and selfish, and would stop at nothing to get her way.

Even assuming this is entirely true, which probably isn’t, at least Ariana is immensely talented. That’s not to say that talent and skill can excuse awful behavior, but at least it can compensate for it.

Earlier this month, as part of her Honeymoon Tour, Ariana performed in Inglewood, California, and she invited a special guest to join her on stage. No, not Justin Bieber, though he too made a few surprise appearances, even managing to learn the words to Ariana’s songs for a duet in the end.

She invited David Foster on, who took his place at the piano Ariana was sitting on and together they did a flawless cover of one of Whitney Houston’s most famous songs, “I Have Nothing.” You can see a video of it below.

It’s impossible not to know that Whitney’s songs were and remain difficult to cover because of her range and skill, so whoever attempts it and is not up for the challenge basically sets herself / himself up for failure.

This was not the case with Ariana. Though she told the crowd that she was very nervous about what she was about to do, she did justice to the song. Check it out.
