The synchronization is uncanny, laughs are guaranteed

It looks as though some people were not OK with Taylor Swift pulling her music from online streaming services. Some disgruntled fan with some mad video and sound editing skills has released online a video mash-up that will leave you and your friends chuckling for sure.

The YouTube user in question seems to have stumbled upon a 1989 aerobic workout video that perfectly syncs up with Taylor Swift's latest hit song “Shake It Off.” The audio of the song is superimposed on the footage of the aerobics dancers' routine (yes, there are legwarmers included) and it fits perfectly to the Taylor Swift lyrics and beat.

Even the length of the song is perfect for the 3 and a half minute routine, which indicates that there was some serious editing done by the creator of the video, but if so, it was done perfectly, because there is no hint of tampering from what we can see.

We could launch into a tirade of how little pop music has changed since the 1980s as it fits so perfectly to a dance routine from the year 1989, but this is clearly the work of a master and it should definitely be treated as a joke.

We'll have to wait and see what Taylor makes of it, since she is known to follow such virals that feature her work and often pokes fun at them.

PS. Get a load of the mustaches men had back in the late '80s!
