Violent altercation between Solange and Jay Z leads to the birth of new meme

The hottest topic of the week, that of the vicious beatdown Solange Knowles put on brother-in-law Jay Z in an elevator while sister Beyonce looked on, did not leave celebrities unimpressed. Rapper 50 Cent, for one, thought it was one of the most hilarious moments ever – or so we can infer from what he did after the video leaked.

The footage, as you can see below, came without audio because it was lifted from a surveillance video camera placed in the elevator where Solange lost her cool and attacked Jay. This means that we at home will never know what exactly happened to make her this violent or what Jay was trying to tell her to get her to calm down.

Luckily, Fiddy seems to have an idea. In a 15-second video he posted to Instagram, he offered voiceover for both Jay and Solange, much to the delight of the Internet. He deleted it after a while (he probably thought it over) but, by that time, it had already made its way online.

Because the video *contains strong language that might offend, I won’t embed it here. However, you can check it out on YouTube. The one below is the original.

As you probably guessed from the header photo, 50 Cent isn’t the only one to find humor in the violent episode. A new meme was born within minutes of the leak of the footage, with Solange being portrayed as either a very dangerous woman to cross, perfectly able to put any man in his place, or as a crazy lady no one should ever upset no matter what.

The header photo is the actual artwork for Beyonce and Jay’s joint tour, called “On the Run.” “From Solange” is some fan’s hilarious addition.
