14 DAY TRIAL // “Violet & Daisy” was shot in 2010 and has been around on the festival circuit ever since. However, it will only come out in theaters all over the world this summer, so it’s time you got acquainted with it.

Described as a blend of a New York crime fable and a coming of age story, and penned by Geoffrey Fletcher (who won an Oscar for his “Precious”), “Violet & Daisy” sees two teen hit killers get more than they bargain for when they agree to go after a target they know too little about.
It stars Alexis Bledel (how I loved her on “Gilmore Girls”!) and Saoirse Ronan (of “The Host”) as the killers, and James Gandolfini as their target, a loaner.
“In VIOLET & DAISY teenage kicks match wits with adult-world turmoil, placing three wounded souls into a line of fire none expected — themselves,” a brief synopsis of the film promises.
Sounds interesting enough, right? It will be on June 7.
