MTV’s hit reality series “Jersey Shore” is one guido down. Vinny Guadagnino has left the house he shared with the other castmates shortly after their return from Italy, and reports in the media indicate it’s for good, he’s not coming back.

At least two media outlets are saying that Vinny got so homesick and, at the same time, fed up with the show, that he’s decided to leave and go back home – but not before getting into a sort of argument with the others, PopEater reports.

“TMZ is reporting that sources connected to the MTV reality show have told them Guadagnino left the house late Friday (July 1) night after getting into an argument with an unnamed cast member,” the e-zine writes.

The reality star was seen and photographed getting into a cab in the middle of the night. He had lots of suitcases with him and seemed somewhat troubled.

This occurs just as the entire cast has returned from Italy, where they shot season 4 of the series. They are now working on season 5, after which, as word in the blogosphere would have it, MTV will replace them all to bring unknowns for a plus of drama and scandal.

“Guadagnino threatened to leave the show a few days into filming, after he complained of ‘being homesick’ and feeling ‘burned out’ and even left the house and stayed overnight at a hotel last Wednesday,” PopEater writes.

“Reports state that the rest of the cast was able to talk to him into coming back, but that did not last for long,” adds the e-zine.

Late on Friday, Vinny had made up his mind and he didn’t take too long to put his plan into action.

“Seeing his family the other day made him get a little homesick. [With] Vinny being the youngest of the bunch, it’s a long time to be away from his family. He left and is home [in Staten Island]. I don’t think he will be back,” a production source says for Us Magazine.

Contacted for comment on whether the show is suddenly minus one star, MTV refused to shed any light on the ongoing rumors.
