If you are a Vine user and you have an iOS operating system, then you might already be aware of the fact that you now have the possibility to view Vines even when you are offline, during those awful times when you do not have an Internet connection.

However, Android users should not despair as Vine representatives have disclosed the fact that they will soon enough make this option available for them as well.

So, if you are using Android, it is only a matter of time before the option becomes available for you too. But, for now, Apple enthusiasts can feel free to update their version in order to make use of the newly incorporated feature.

A better and improved application

This is not the only feature that the application now has. Vine representatives guarantee that the app is now faster than before, allowing users to receive notifications faster and to see them much more quickly than before. This means that people with slow Internet connections can rejoice at this particular feature, as they will now be able to check out the newest vines out there much faster.

Senior iOS Engineer Michel Loenngren even posted a short video online in his blog post showing how much this change can affect the time in which we can effectively access a vine. He emphasizes the fact that the application will load the short videos even before actually opening it. In order to achieve this type of improvement in terms of speed, they chose to switch to smaller video sizes.

The change followed some complaints from Vine users who, due to poor Internet speed, had issues loading the videos on their smartphone or tablets. But they can now rest assured as, with these new enhancements, the more than 40 million users will be able to enjoy a better experience on Vine.
