David King, the maintainer of the Vinagre VNC client for the GNOME desktop environment, had the pleasure of announcing earlier today, August 20, that the first Beta release of the upcoming Vinagre 3.10 application is available for download and testing.

Vinagre 3.10 Beta 1 is actually a very small release that only implements the get_dimensions() virtual function for the VNC and RDP protocols.

The following translations have been updated in Vinagre 3.10 Beta 1: Traditional Chinese, Chinese Simplified, Galician, Norwegian Bokmal, Slovenian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Hebrew.

Vinagre is an open source remote desktop connection and VCN client for the GNOME desktop environment. More details about this first Beta release of the upcoming Vinagre 3.10 application can be found in the official release announcement. Download Vinagre 3.10 Beta 1 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a beta version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
