Vimeo iOS 3.0 Gains New UI, Better Sharing Features

The new Vimeo iPhone app features a streamlined interface that lets you quickly shoot and upload footage, then share any video instantly through Facebook and Twitter. You can now watch HD content too.

Kerry Trainor, Vimeo CEO, says, “The new Vimeo iPhone app empowers our users to easily upload their videos to Vimeo for instant sharing and beautiful HD viewing on Vimeo-enabled devices.”

Vimeo 3.0 lets you navigate using the new tab-based design, view and browse videos via the new Feed view, share videos natively with Twitter and Facebook (including auto-sharing), upload your videos in the background, and manage your queue of Watch Later stuff.

The iPhone editor has been removed, says Vimeo, but avid fans can download and save active projects to their Camera Roll.

Vimeo iOS is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 5.0 or later. The app is optimized for iPhone 5.
