Viking: Battle For Asgard is an action-adventure game developed specifically for next gen consoles by Creative Assembly and published by Sega on the 25th of March 2008 in North America, the 27th of March 2008 in Australia and the 28th of March 2008 in Europe. The game is based on Norse mythology and presents an interesting story: a war has started between the gods and it has repercussions on the realm of Midgard.

The game was pretty well received by fans and the only problems found were related to the repetitiveness of the music and minimal story. On the other hand, the epic battles and the great, brutal fighting sequences were applauded by everybody and are still considered a delight by all the fans.
