Most monitors and TVs are good enough for watching a movie or two, but when it comes to fast-paced action and high-end games, some special things have to be done. ViewSonic has made one such “special” product line.

Said product line is called VX52 and is made of two displays at the moment: the 24-inch (really 23.6-inch + bezel) VX2452mh and the 22-inch (21.5-inch) VX2252mh.

Both of them are Full HD displays (1920 x 1080 pixels resolution) with ultra-high 50M:1 MEGA Dynamic Contrast Ratio.

They also happen to possess ViewSonic's proprietary Game Mode technology, which enhances visibility and details in dark video game scenes.

More importantly, though, is that the ClearMotiv II technology is used, since it allows for that 2ms response time that ViewSonic is so happy about.

"The VX52 series builds on the feature-set of our best selling VX50 series," said Kenneth Mau, product marketing manager for ViewSonic.

"In addition to a 2 ms ultra-fast response time, the VX52 series delivers a new ID with a more uniform glossy bezel, along with HDMI connectivity and a VESA-mountable design, making the enjoyment of smooth gaming and glitch-free entertainment effortless for our customers."

In addition to everything we've already mentioned, the VX52 monitors boast two 2W speakers each. Not the best sound in the world, but they should be enough until owners get around to purchasing a speaker system of better quality.

As for connectivity, ViewSonic gave the two a D-Sub port, a DVI input and an HDMI connector (which is most likely to make use of those speakers). It can accept signal from both PCs and game consoles (PlayStation 3, Xbox), plus media players, Blu-ray players, etc.

ViewSonic's 24-inch VX2452mh and 22-inch VX2252mh will ship from around the middle of October in America for $181 / €133 and $160 / €118, respectively.
