ViewSonic has just announced a new professional WQHD monitor that features a high-quality IPS panel. The device is highly configurable and has numerous connectivity options.
The official name of the new model is ViewSonic VP2770-LED and this one has a 27” diagonal size and sports an impressive 2560 by 1440 pixel resolution.
This resolution is called
WQHD and this is short for “Wide Quad High Definition.”
This is a standard discussed by the ATSC back in the 90s, which is becoming more and more popular in the PC industry.
The new display comes with impressive connectivity options such as DisplayPort, HDMI, Dual-Link DVI and the standard VGA connector.
Moreover, the ViewSonic VP2770-LED also comes with four USB ports to support various peripherals.
On the ergonomics side, the new monitor has height adjust, swivel, tilt and pivot along with the standard VESA mount.
The ViewSonic VP2770-LED is backed by a 3-year warranty and the price is slated at $800 (620 EUR).
