ViewSonic, one of the world's leading vendors of display solutions and other computing products, has recently expanded its line of LCDs with the introduction of the new VP series of LCD monitors. Designed for professionals, the new display solutions have been built using IPS panels and are to provide consumers with support for full 1080p resolution, while also integrating a USB hub. The two monitors are available in a 23-inch and a 26-inch form factor and are targeted at professional designers, manufacturers, medical applications and movie production, according to the company.

“IPS panel technology is a must have for professionals in image-rich industries, such as graphic artists. Without enhanced viewing angles and accurate color reproduction, they simply cannot do their jobs,” Jeff Volpe, vice president and general manager of ViewSonic North America, said. “Our new LCD monitors are designed with these professionals in mind, providing them with a true picture and color quality to make projects come alive.”

Designed for professional users, the new ViewSonic monitors take full benefit from the advantages provided by the use of the IPS panel technology. According to the company, its professional-grade monitors have been designed to enable the highest screen performance, color accuracy, advanced ergonomics and input flexibility.

While the 23-inch VP2365wb IPS monitor offers support for a Full-HD 1920x1080 resolution, the 26-inch VP2655wb IPS monitor is designed to provide customers with a 118% NTSC wide color gamut. The latter can also enable support for Full-HD resolution and comes with a high contrast ratio and super-wide 178/178 viewing degree. In addition, the two monitors have both been featured with a 4-port USB hub and ergonomic pivot, height adjustment, tilt and swivel functionality, as well as a slim bezel design.

Part of ViewSonic's professional grade series, the two monitors are already available for an estimated street price of US$399 and US$1,299 for the VP2365wb and the VP2655wb, respectively.
