ViewSonic Debuts DVP5 Pocket Camcorder Projector, Photo Copier Too |

Beside the 3D offerings we've talked about yesterday, ViewSonic has also outed a couple of more or less standard offerings in the imaging field, namely the DVP5 Pocket Camcorder Projector and the DPF8-CAM Digital Photo Copier, both of which, however, are far from being ordinary devices in their respective segments.
The first device we'll talk about as follows, namely the DVP5 Pocket Camcorder Projector, enables consumers to take 720p HD video and 5-megapixel photos, which can then be immediately projected onto nearby surfaces, the maximum supported diagonal size reaching 65 inches.
In addition to the option of using a Micro SD card for up to 32GB of storage, consumers can use the DVP5 to project content from external devices using an AV jack, such as an iPod, iPhone, mobile phone, DVD player, camcorder, notebook/PC or game console.
Furthermore, the LED backlight lamp technology ensures true color and high contrast ratio, plus 20,000 hours of product use or more, while the rechargeable built-in battery offers up to two hours of recording time on a single charge.
The 8-inch DPF8-CAM Digital Photo Copier, on the other hand, easily converts analog print photos to digital format, with an intuitive user interface for adjusting or cropping the digital image.
The high-resolution 800x600 LED backlit screen and 5-megapixel built-in camera ensure crisp, sharp image quality, while a 4:3 aspect ratio minimizes image distortion.
The photos in digital form can be saved directly on the device with the 128MB of built-in internal storage, or onto memory card for added capacity.
In addition to digitization of analog prints, the DPF8-CAM functions as a digital display, supporting photo slideshows, as well as calendar, clock and alarm features.
Similar to the 3D offerings we've mentioned earlier, the new ViewSonic DVP5 Pocket Camcorder Projector and DPF8-CAM Digital Photo Copier are not particularly expensive, the first device selling for around $329.99, while the second is priced at around $149.99.
