The popular RSS app Vienna has been promoted to version 3.0.0 Beta 14 this week, adding numerous code corrections as well as a Google+ plugin for easy sharing.

If you’re the type who likes to stay up to date with the latest news, chances are you’re using an RSS reader on your Mac.

Among the RSS solutions available to Mac users, Vienna first comes to mind whenever you need a comprehensive news fetching/reading tool and a clean interface.

Vienna 3.0.0 Beta 14 was released this week to fix a bug in sync password management and to add a Google Plus plugin, allowing users to share the latest news with their circles with just a few clicks.

The update also brings better handling of feeds containing linefeeds, or those reusing the same GUID, and changes the handling of read/starred status for Open Reader feeds and the handling of Unified layout.

Mind you, this is a beta version of Vienna, which means the app may crash or exhibit other issues from time to time. The latest stable version of the software, and the beta, are both available at the link below.
