Vidiator, a provider of mobile streaming, encoding, mobile
TV and 3D messaging solutions, announced that it has started supporting NTT DoCoMo's i-mode service with their Xenon Encoder. The Xenon Encoder provides high quality multimedia encoding for mobile devices, using an optimized encoding algorithm that allows for the real-time conversion of any analog or digital audio and
video
signals.
The Xenon Encoder now supports NTT DoCoMo's new specifications for i-motion, an i-mode related service, to deliver mobile video and audio entertainment over its
HSDPA network to FOMA subscribers. The Xenon Encoder is enhanced with the new industry standard multimedia codecs including H.264, HE-AAC and Enhanced aacPlus and it's compatible with NTT DoCoMo's HSDPA handset family, including the 3G FOMA N902iX HIGH-SPEED.
The Xenon Encoder is a part of Vidiator's set of mobile
content delivery solutions built on the Xenon mobile multimedia delivery
platform. The suite of products includes Xenon Streamer, Xenon TV, Xenon Encoder, Xenon Live Encoder and Xenon Transcoder, providing mobile operators, content providers and handset manufacturers with tools needed to create advanced wireless multimedia services like mobile TV and video, mobile music and mobile advertising.
