Regional operator Videotron has just kicked off an interesting deal for Android fans. The Canadian carrier has recently launched the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G, and is now trying to raise the hype around these devices.

Starting today, customers who are into these Android devices can purchase the Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G and receive the Galaxy Nexus for free through Videotron.

Although this is a limited-time offer, Videotron does not offer an end date for this promo, though it mentions it’s available while supplies last.

According to the carrier, this offer “is for residential customers subscribing simultaneously to Videotron's mobile service and "Internet on your tablet" service data add-on with a Samsung Galaxy Nexus and a Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G or adding a mobile line to their account.”

In addition customers are required to be continuously subscribed to the mobile and “Internet on your tablet” service for a minimum of 30 days, in order to get advantage of a credit equivalent to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus reduced price of 149.95$.

This would be a nice combo for someone who needs a tablet and a smartphone powered by Google’s mobile platform.

Keep in mind that while the Galaxy Nexus runs the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G is still stuck on Android 3.2 Honeycomb.

However, Samsung already confirmed the Galaxy Tab 10.1 would get an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade sometime in Q2 2012, though a release date has yet to be unveiled.

Last but not least, customers who purchase the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G and get the free Galaxy Nexus will also get 1-year of free subscription to the digital editions of Le Journal de Montreal and Le Journal de Quebec, as well as a $35 gift card, which is redeemable on Archambault.ca.
