Videos posted by a Chinese web site show (alleged) actual iPod nano 6 and iPod touch 4 parts, hours before Apple’s planned September 1 event in San Francisco, where the company is expected to announce the new players, alongside other rumored products.

Uploaded to YouTube by iPod.dj, the videos (embedded below) show the touch panels allegedly employed by Apple’s upcoming players.

Each of the panels has distinct particularities seemingly confirming recent rumors, including the front facing camera for the new iPod touch, and the touch-centric nature of the new iPod nano 6.

In the past week, various sources said Apple was on track to release a small iPod nano bearing a design akin to that of the company’s shuffle line of players, yet boasting a touch-screen, making it a good addition to the nano family of iPods.

Some believe the player might also be worn as a watch, in what would undoubtedly sell truckloads of units to young Apple fans.

The sixth-generation iPod nano now seems almost fully confirmed, with Apple’s keynote just hours away.

Marc Krenn, a Flickr user, has created mockups of the player.

His work (pictured above) looks just like genuine Apple promo material, prompting the folks at 9to5mac to note that Krenn could have easily passed off the renderings as the real thing.

At the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (San Francisco, California), the Cupertino-based electronics maker is also rumored to unveil a revised Apple TV, with streaming video rentals from various studios, of which ABC or Fox are rumored to be in talks with Apple.

A new cloud-based iTunes may be announced as well, company watchers believe.

Finally, Apple may dedicate some time to announcing a new version of iLife, although this is the least likely product to drop at today’s event.

Nevertheless, sources claiming to be knowledgeable in these matters say Apple is removing iDVD from the suite, while adding a new, “mystery application”.
