On the lookout for a budget Android tablet? Videocon has just made available on its official website a new, shiny white slate called VT85C.

The product doesn't bring much in terms of specifications, but at least it offers some pre-installed content, if you’re into that. The Videocon features your average 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, which is not much, but we have seen much worse.

This budget tablet draws power from a 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.

Photo enthusiasts will find here a 5MP rear camera and a 0.3MP VGA frontal one. Only 4GB of internal memory are offered off the bat, but users can increase it via microSD card.

Like most tablets released in India nowadays, it comes with calling capabilities and bundles an ear piece to facilitate the act.

We mentioned before that VT85C would ship with some extra pre-installed apps, among which you can find Facebook, OperaMini, Vstore, Hungama, and others.

On top of that, users get 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS. But even if the model has shown up on the company’s official website, the pricing for the device is still unknown.
