Notion Ink, the company behind the soon-to-be-here Android-based Adam tablet PC, is hard at work with making the final preparations for the official release of the device, and a series of new videos with it seem to be just the thing.

Notion Ink's Adam tablet PC was put on pre-order in early December, with an availability date set for January, and the company has started to provide some more info on the device via video demonstrations.

In the videos embedded at the bottom of this article, you will have the possibility to take a look not only at the boot-screen for the device, but also at how its web browser can perform, as well as at some of its hardware components.

We already knew that the upcoming tablet PC should be pretty impressive when made available for purchase on shelves, and the new videos are meant to prove exactly that.

The tablet PC should arrive on shelves with a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen on board, while also including features like a HDMI port, along with Wi-Fi connectivity options, and much more.

The new device is also expected to become available for purchase with a load of custom applications pre-loaded on it, as the company announced a few times before.

Previously, some even doubted that the tablet PC itself exists, but Notion Ink started to showcase more of it recently, and things were cleared up.

The first video preview embedded below will show the Adam boot-animation, while the second one will provide a glimpse at the web browser packed with the device, one that reportedly can offer impressive performance levels.

According to Slashgear, the Adam tablet scores 51,049 in Rightware’s BrowserMark benchmarking tool, while the Apple iPad can hit only 38,620. The Nexus One would score only 23,726.

All in all, it seems that Adam would be able to impress both on the hardware and on the software side. The first devices should start shipping in a matter of weeks, and we'll learn at that time more on what the experience it delivers is all about.
