Nokia N95 now has the skills to auto-rotate too

The auto-rotation was one of the iPhone's greatest talents and aroused the interest of many people. It looks high tech and extremely responsive to the users' needs, as they no longer have to make the change from Portrait to Landscape themselves, but has the phone to do it.

It looks like all the credit for making Nokia N95 act like an iPhone through its auto-rotation function goes to the rotateMe v.2.0 application. It sounds pretty impressive and certainly looks spectacular. The function is great when browsing through the phone's menu and viewing images, as it saves the user from pushing many buttons in order to get the same thing done.

A video of a Nokia N95 mobile phone running the rotateMe v.2.0 software has just surfaced, making it clear that it is possible. It looks like the iPhone is losing every single special feature it held as an advantage over its main competitors. The touchscreen feature has long stopped being the most special one that producers could put in their handsets and now every single detail that the iPhone used to impress people ends up being copied.

RotateMe v2.0, enables an automatic rotation on N95, so that when the user turns his device, the screen automatically rotates with it. For a long time, this Nokia handset has been considered the iPhone's main competitor. Now that it rips off Apple's phone from all its glitter, it might become even more appealing for users. Nokia can only thank this to the developers of this application that also works perfectly with other cellulars from them as well.

RotateMe v2.0 will be available stating with end of November. A new version of it will also be released for other Nokia mobile phones, including the N73, N80 and E65. You can watch the video of Nokia N96 and its new auto-rotating function in the video below.
