14 DAY TRIAL // Chicago rapper Lil Reese is again making headlines, again for all the wrong reasons. A video showing him punching and stomping on an unidentified woman at a house party has gone viral, getting those who dared see it in full completely shocked and outraged.
The video, shot on a cell phone by another reveler at the same party, can be viewed here in full, *but please note that extreme discretion is recommended because it contains very graphic images.
The New York Daily News notes that it was shot at a house party, with a woman arguing with a man presumably because of the reason he and his friends were there.
A man in a red hood, believed to be Lil Reese, walks in the door and immediately goes at the woman.
“Boy, don't push me, and if you want that, you can get that. But... keep your hands to yourself though,” the woman says, trying to get him to leave her be.
Within minutes, the guy in the hoodie is punching the woman, slamming her against the wall and hitting her blindly, even though a female friend of hers is trying to stop him.
When the woman falls down screaming, Lil Reese continues to kick her, literally stomping on her at some point.
As was to be expected, the violence of the attack shocked many, including Lil Reese’s fans. Reactions to it on Twitter range from disbelief to utter horror.
Reese himself has acknowledged the existence of the video and its legitimacy, but refused to say whether he was the man in the red hood.
He also pointed out that the video was at least several years old and, by some twist of logic on his part, irrelevant.
“The haters tryna see a mf Dwn lol Dey gotta b broke and bored wanna upload sum [expletive] from years ago damnn we winnin it's 2 late [sic],” he wrote.
Chances are that’s too weak an argument for those who have seen the shocking video.
