Clearly shows that T-Mobile USA will get it

The high-end Windows Mobile 6.5-based HTC HD2 might be closer than expected to making an appearance on T-Mobile USA's airwaves. Following the recent rumors on the handset's arrival stateside, and the emergence of a leaked ROM that supposedly shows the phone is set to arrive at T-Mobile USA, now one can enjoy a video with that ROM, showing a series of goodies that US mobile phone users will receive as soon as this handset makes an appearance on this side of the Atlantic.

Among the new features of the phone that can be spotted there, we can count a new “Documents Tab,” a live document preview from the Sense tab bar (an add-in that reportedly features support for formats like .txt, .doc, .docx, .xls and .pdf), a great deal of animations, and a pretty speedy performance, something that in the end might not surprise many, considering that the HTC HD2 is after all a 1GHz Snapdragon-powered mobile phone.

Even better, one can clearly see that T-Mobile USA will be the beneficiary, since the “Stick Together” box is included in the ROM. The new video with the HTC HD2 comes from the Italian site HDBlog.it, while the ROM on the handset is said to be the already mentioned US version of HTC HD2 2.01 ROM. The new HTC Sense 2.5.1921 is also there and can be enjoyed in action, and some might spot a small improvement in the performance in the Music tab as well, and a few other enhancements.

Everything seems to have been nailed down already, and it only remains to be seen when T-Mobile and HTC announce this beauty officially. Early 2010 is the release time frame previously rumored for the device, and it might pan out in the end, so we'll keep our fingers crossed. In the meantime, take a look at the video below to see the HTC HD2 2.01 ROM in action, and make sure you check back again to learn additional details on the handset's US landing.
