Video of Drunk Hasselhoff Leaked to the Media

Alec Baldwin has set a precedent! If, a couple of days ago, a message he left on his daughter's phone was made public, causing quite the outrage, here is yet another exemplary daddy, coming to show us one or two things about what being a fit parent really means. The only difference is that, in David Hasselhoff's case, the main 'star' is completely drunk. You be the judges if that's something that works in his favor or not.

David Hasselhoff, once the lead actor in the popular 'Baywatch' series, now simply a man who tries to make a living in Tinseltown the best way he knows how, is the subject of a very harsh media attack, after a tape shot by none other than his daughter was leaked to the media. The footage shows the man who likes to refer to himself in the third person as The Hoff, lying on the floor of a hotel room, shirtless and with nothing else on than just a pair of blue jeans, as he is trying to eat a burger while simultaneously make any sense of what his daughter has to say.

Apparently, to say that the actor was drunk when the video was shot would be like calling Paris Hilton's acting endeavors Oscar-worthy. David is so intoxicated that not a single word he utters in the camera is understandable. Even more, he is clearly not able to stand (even when lying down!), not to mention eat. According to sources inside 'Entertainment Tonight', that were the 'lucky' ones to purchase this video, The Hoff himself was the one who asked his daughters if he ever got drunk again. And they complied.

David's 16-year-old daughter, Taylor, can be heard telling her father: 'Dad, look what this is doing to you. You have to stop drinking alcohol, promise me you won't drink anymore. The doctor's coming over early ... if you have any alcohol in your system, you're gonna be fired from the show [Hasselhoff's Broadway gig].' Whatever it is that the washed up actor is saying as a means of response is unintelligible.

Until now, it is yet unsure who might have leaked (read: sold) the tape to the media. While speculation abounds that it was David's estranged wife the one who did it (the two have been involved in a very nasty divorce for quite a while now and she has repeatedly stated that she didn't want David to have full custody of their children), the former 'Baywatch' hunk issued a statement in which he talked about his 'relapse' into alcoholism. Because, in case you didn't figure it out yet, that's what we're dealing with here, in this footage.

'I am a recovering alcoholic. Despite that I have been going through a painful divorce and I have recently been separated from my children due to my work, I have been successfully dealing with my issue. Unfortunately, one evening I did have a brief relapse, but part of recovery is relapse. Because of my honest and positive relationship with my daughters who were concerned for my well being there was a tape made that night to show me what I was like. I have seen the tape. I have learned from it and I am back on my game.', David said.

If that last part is true, then good! But, if we were to listen to Pamela, the woman with whom he was married for so many years, then things stand completely different.
