It's a well known fact that Google's video sharing service YouTube has a very large database of clips, hosting all kinds of movies uploaded by the users. But one of the most attractive offers of YouTube is surely 'Howto & DIY' which contains tutorials and high-quality videos helping users in many of their daily computer activities. Today, YouTube received new content especially useful for the SketchUp-addicted consumers because they will be able to learn new tricks for the application by watching the professional tutorials powered by Google.

In case you didn't know, SketchUp is a 3D designing solution which can be used with several purposes. For example, since the 6.0 version was officially released, the Mountain View-based company encouraged the users to build their own models of streets, buildings and even cities to be included in Google Earth. This way, the downloadable mapping solution could receive new content while building another side: the 3D Google Earth.

"SketchUp has grown a lot since then, and since we try our best to keep up, we're very happy to announce our latest and greatest additions to our existing videos. We've created two new series of videos: One is aimed specifically at new SketchUp users, and the other showcases every tool available through the toolbar. You can find all our new videos on our YouTube channel," Tyson Kartchner from the SketchUp blog wrote on the main blog of the company.

But Google wants even more for the SketchUp fans. "we're working on covering as many features and capabilities of SketchUp as we can. We'll be uploading the videos as we go, so be sure to subscribe to our channel to be notified whenever there's a new one. Just so you know, we're currently working on some cool SketchUp technique videos, as well as more in-depth videos on LayOut," the same official added.
