Video (formerly Totem), the official movie player of the GNOME desktop environment based on Gstreamer that features a playlist, a full-screen mode, seek and volume controls, as well as keyboard navigation, is now at version 3.8.2.

This is actually the first maintenance release for Video (Totem). The developers have skipped 3.8.1, but are now proposing a new version.

Highlights of Video (formerly Totem) 3.8.2:

• A work-around has been implemented for a problem with the initial window size; • A few errors have been fixed in the gallery name print, with filenames that contain the "&" symbol; • Translations are now correctly being applied in Nautilus' properties; • The Python Console is now working.

A complete list of modifications can be found in the official changelog.
