Robert Downey Jr. has lately been compared more and more often with his onscreen character Tony Stark, aka Iron Man. Much like him, Downey seems endowed with many qualities: good looks, a kind heart, great acting skills and, as of late, a great singing voice.

A video has surfaced online of the actor performing on stage with singer Sting during a 2011 concert. The concert celebrated Sting's 60th birthday and Robert took to the stage to give his rendition of the classic Police song “Driven to Tears.”

I'll wager that not many of you Robert Downey Jr. fans out there knew the man had a nice singing voice and took to the microphone like a fish to water.

If you watch the video, something I strongly urge you to do, you'll be amazed how well Robert and Sting sound together, with their voices seeming to complement each other.

As Iron Man said in “The Avengers": "Big man in a suit of armor. Take that away – what are you? Err – genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist." You can now add singer to that list.
