The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released for almost a month, but already a clever developer has managed to make the game work on the PC with the help of the Kinect motion sensor, with a proof of concept video being already posted on YouTube.

Skyrim quickly won the hearts of many gamers from all around the world, with the Bethesda RPG still appealing to many players, despite its glitches and problems.

Now, it seems that traditional console controllers or even the mouse and keyboard from the PC wasn’t enough for one clever YouTube user, who managed to modify the game through a special set of drivers, making it playable only with the Kinect.

While we’ve already seen quite a lot of Kinect versions of other games, like World of Warcraft, this one is a bit different, as the user also included voice commands, which makes gameplay that much easier. You can just swap through weapons and alternate between hands only by calling out the name of the power or item you want to use, making it even easier to change your strategy than with a regular controller.

While playing isn’t as precise as with normal control inputs, the video above shows that the Kinect can be successfully used to play Skyrim.
