14 DAY TRIAL // The International Tattoo Festival took place in Caracas, Venezuela, a few days ago and one of the attendees who got the most media attention on the spot and is still basking in the spotlight as we speak is Henry Damon, a 37-year-old man who now goes by the name Red Skull.
It’s no coincidence that he calls himself as one of Marvel’s most famous and dangerous villains: a while back, Damon set out to have as many extreme body modifications as needed for him to look just like this Marvel character.
The latest saw him chop off his nose.
Henry Damon goes to extremes to become Red Skull
At the tattoo event, a friend of Damon’s spoke to the press and revealed that becoming Red Skull had actually been one of his oldest dreams. However, it wasn’t until he met a very “talented” surgeon who specialized only in body modifications that he was able to do that.
The surgeon too, named Emilio Gonzalez, spoke to the press, praising Damon for his dedication to what he considered the ultimate expression of body art. He assured that everything Damon had done, from the eyeball tattoos to the “nose reshaping” (which is just fancy talk for chopping off the tip of his nose), had been done with due consideration to his health and well-being.
He had performed tests on Damon before getting him under the knife, and made sure that the intervention would not pose a risk to his health. Damon was a very smart man who knew what he was doing, a husband and a father who would not put himself at risk unnecessarily, the surgeon added.

As more media outlets are taking a keen interest in this case of extreme body modifications, a relatively recent video is picking up traction online: you will find it embedded below. It shows the steps Damon took towards becoming Red Skull.
At the start of the video, though, he already has his eyeballs tattooed black and he has the forehead and temple implants. The other implants, face tattoos and, of course, the “nose reshaping” came later.
According to the aforementioned surgeon, Damon has no plans of stopping here: he will get more silicone implants in the cheeks and on the cheekbones, and will have to complete his facial tattoo until his entire face is red.
As the tweet below points out, he might also want to consider shaving the beard. He needs to shave the head too, we add.
