Video Share will be the first service in the US to allow users to share live video while also placing a voice call. This will be available for all wireless enabled devices.

This service is meant to provide for all AT&T subscribers communication in a much more efficient way, from any place, at any time. With Video Share, they will be able to broadcast all the special events from their lives much easier while making all their friends witness them live.

Video Share makes it possible for users to send one-way live streaming video feeds which all users engaged in a conversation can exchange between them. This service brings several advantages for its users. First of all, it allows them to share any important moments live. This offers the feeling of being closer to the other person, which strengthens the level at which the communication process takes place.

"AT&T Video Share is just that sort of service. Users now have the ability to show others exactly what they see, when they're seeing it, and to share that experience across town or across the country", said Randall Stephenson, AT&T Chairman and CEO. Moreover, "Even in today's fast-changing environment, it's rare to see a new service that truly redefines the possibilities of communication", he continued.

Video share is now available on three markets in the US. AT&T will make it possible to reach up to the end of July, more than 160 markets, which are covered by the company's 3G wireless network services.

Two video share service packages will be available for the price of USD 5 on a monthly basis, with 25 minutes of Video Share usage and for USD 10 for 60 minutes of usage. An alternative to this subscription might be that of paying 35 cents a minute each time we use the service.
