The build is not yet intended for daily use, but it works acceptably well

Galaxy S III, the latest flagship Android-based device from Samsung, has already got a taste of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, though not through the official channels.

A CyanogenMod 10 ROM is being currently developed for it, with the new platform inside, though not yet ready for daily use.

However, it appears that things are moving fast towards a public release, as the video embedded above (courtesy of Pocketnow) shows – featuring a preview build of CM10 on Galaxy S III.

Most of the new features are included, such as Google Now, Project Butter, the new notifications, and the upgraded launcher, but there still are some things that don’t work properly.

Those who would like to get a firsthand look at the build will find info on how to download and install it over at the XDA-Developers (for the international Galaxy S III, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile).
