Apple has opened a full-time position for a video-game artist in Santa Clara Valley, Cupertino, California. The applicant must have at least three years of experience with the iPhone or any game consoles, and should possess Maya / 3D Max / Photoshop experience. This person will be part of a team tasked with designing, visualizing, enabling and implementing graphics.

“The interactive media group is looking for a skilled artist who wants to work as part of a small highly motivated team to work on interactive multimedia experiences on the iPhone and iPod Touch,” Apple reveals on its website. “The position on the team is to help design, visualize, enable and implement interface, 3D characters/environments, animation, texturing as well as original concept artwork,” the Mac maker explains.

Delving into the description, Apple says it needs someone who can be touted as “a creative thinker.” This person needs not only to contribute to designing great visuals, but also to comment on the design process, as well as be flexible enough to provide assistance in all aspects of production. Those include asset management and the ability to work to a deadline, Apple says. The company then proceeds with posting the requirements on behalf of the applicant. Those are:
