There is a new video on Instagram which seeks to confirm what many celebrity publications have been speculating for weeks, the fact that Selena Gomez found it in her big heart to forgive Justin Bieber and ran back into his tattooed arms for another bout of relational drama.
The short video shows Selena sitting next to Justin for a brief second at a friend's birthday bash. The footage shows the birthday boy receiving his birthday cake, and as the camera pans around for a better look, you can actually make out the two singers laughing and joking as they watch the ceremony unfold.
A photo posted by Justin Bieber on his Instagram account earlier this week hinted that the reconciliation had taken place sometime before. The photo showed Selena cradling Justin's head in her arms, but after it caused a storm on social media, Justin decided to quickly take it down. It was enough, however, to start the rumor mill.
And it turns out that all those rumors were entitled, since Selena and Justin just can't seem to stay away from one another, no matter how much heartbreak they cause to the other. The reason for their split is still not known, but recent proof has indicated that Justin's womanizing ways may have driven Selena away.
Since the split, Justin has been parading on both sides of the Atlantic with beautiful women, mostly models, making sure that photographers were always there to immortalize the moment. He's also been rumored to have had some sort of flirt with one of the Jenner sisters, or both, which might have caused Selena to promptly dump him.
From where we're sitting, there was virtually no reason whatsoever for Selena to reconcile with Bieber, but then again, we don't have the full picture, maybe Justin is really just a misunderstood man with a heart of gold, who, deep down, really loves Selena but we just can't see it due to all his flirting with other women.
Further proof that Selena and Justin patched things up comes over the weekend, when they were rumored to have spent some time together in Canada, celebrating Justin's father's birthday.
The only good news that comes from this rekindling of their relationship is the fact that it's now OK again to use the phrase “Jelena” when referring to the two singers, thus making it easier and faster for everyone to spell their names.
