Victoria’s Secret, one of the leading brands of women lingerie, has a long and sometimes hilarious track record as far as bad Photoshop goes. The curse of too much retouching seems to have struck again, this time in the case of Angel Candice Swanepoel.

It’s only been days that talk started that Candice may be starving herself in a bid to be as skinny as possible, which could end up costing her job with Victoria’s Secret.

Shortly after said reports took over the Internet, VS premiered a photo of Candice modeling the Miraculous Multi-way Push-up Bandeau Top, which boasts enough padding and support to add as much as two cup sizes to your cleavage.

Yet it’s not Candice’s cleavage that first draws the eye, but rather something very odd happening with her shoulders and the upper part of her arms.

In other words, the model seems twice as large than she should be. Given the controversy that she has some kind of eating disorder, voices online are now saying this is VS’s way of fixing the problem.

“The South African beauty is seen with bizarrely-protruding muscles on her left shoulder in a new ad for the lingerie giant,” British tab the Daily Mail notes.

“Though it could just be an awkward angle, made worse by an unfortunate pose, Victoria’s Secret’s history of airbrushing fails suggests otherwise,” the publication adds.

Gossip blogger Perez Hilton also agrees that there is something really off about the photo – and it could be that it’s not just the pose or the angle.

“But looking at this ad for VS, we’re wondering what’s going on with her usually thin arms. Were they edited to look more toned?” he asks.

“Swanepoel is shown on the company’s website modeling the Miraculous Multi-way Push-up Bandeau Top, but we just can’t get over her arm,” he adds.

And these are just two of the voices saying Victoria’s Secret is trying to make all that talk of an eating disorder go away with a Photoshopped picture.

Sadly, if so, it’s poorly done. Have your say on this in the comments section below.
