I sure have missed fresh news about Victoria Beckham...and well, you know what they say, your wishes may come true when you least expect it. And boy, did I miss that arrogance of hers. You know, that air Vicky's got when she's giving an interview and basically every time she knows someone's watching - like she's making you a huge favor just by looking at you. OK, maybe I exaggerate a bit - she's not doing it when she's posing or lip-synching (then she just looks like an alien), but you can distinctly feel that air of "oh, I'm so glamorous" on pretty much every other opportunity.

And Victoria, it seems, is so happy to be back (winning loads of money) with the Spice Girls that she seems to have forgotten just how desperate she was only a couple of months back about America not welcoming her with loads of job opportunities, as she expected. And now that she is working hard again (it's definitely oh so difficult to change in and out of Cavalli outfits, pretend to sing and receive millions of pounds for it), Posh seems to enjoy telling everybody that she had plenty of job offers which she actually refused. Anyone else sees the irony in this?
"I got asked to be in the Sex and the City film, which I would have loved to have done,
but because I am in full-on Spice Girls rehearsal mode, unfortunately, I can't do it". Well, I must give her props: it's a good PR move, telling people she turned down a part in a movie that's so much about fashion and whose main characters have been deemed trend setters for years. It's a bit of a slap on the face, something along the lines of "oh, you're good, but I'm too busy to do a cameo".
So, all you 'Sex and the City' fans out there, you're now free to cry your eyes out over Victoria not being part of the movie. I must admit, I'm pretty disappointed - just imagine the hilarious outfits she would have worn and all the posing and pouting. Yes, it's definitely a loss. And there would have been no lip-synching, so the fans would have had less reasons to be disappointed. Oh, well, maybe next time.
