Victoria Disses Blonde for Brunette

Victoria Beckham has returned to her classic brunette bob for the Spice Girls' upcoming world tour. And yes, for once, this is an "I love Victoria's style" article. She finally (and thankfully) decided to ditch her blonde locks and spent eight hours having her hair dyed dark brown at Los Angeles' Jessica Galvin Hair Studio last Friday.

In case you don't remember, Posh is now sporting the same hairstyle she had when the Spice Girls first shot to fame with "Wannabe" 11 years ago, in 1996. The 33-year-old is known for her rather risqu� fashion choices, and I have to say that, for once, Victoria didn't go wrong with her hair color choice. In addition to her new color, Victoria seems to have gotten some hair extensions as well. However, Mrs. Beckham was quite eager to keep her new locks a secret and rushed out of the hairdressers wearing a cap.

But never fear - we'll be seeing Victoria and the other Spice Girls perform quite soon, as there is a little over a month left until their reunion tour kicks off in Vancouver on December 2nd.

A source stated that "the girls have changed since their heyday but Victoria wants her fans to remember how she used to look. Her dark bob made her the person the was and she wanted to turn back the clock. She is sure the fans and the other girls will love it". And the fact is that Victoria has a point - it's probably a good move for her not to try and look too much of a fashion addict and shock the audience while she's on stage - although, who knows, this is Posh we're talking about in the end...

Earlier this month, Victoria herself revealed she was ready to change her hair color, saying: "My hair just feels so luminous at the moment. I had this blonde color done in Los Angeles when it was really bright and sunny. Now I go back to the UK and it's a bit overcast and cold and I feel like I'm glowing in the dark. It's time for a change and let's just say it'll be quite different".
