Throughout the years, Victoria Beckham, fashion designer and fashion icon, has been virtually on every major magazine cover in the world – except for Vogue US. That will soon change, as she’s been approached to be the cover of it, a la Demi Moore.

Word online has it that Victoria, who is now pregnant with her fourth child, has been asked to be on the cover of Vogue, where she’s to show off her baby bump – sans clothes, just like Demi Moore famously did many years ago.

Confirmation of this is yet to come, but Digital Spy says that details are now being ironed out – and the initiative seems to have come from none other than Anna Wintour herself.

For years, it was said that Wintour has a grudge against Victoria, which would explain why she’s never been on the cover of the “fashion bible” Vogue.

“It’s not a very Vogue thing to do, but the team can make it work and make it ‘fashion’. Anna’s apparently really keen on it. Everyone’s expecting it to fly off the shelves. Victoria’s a huge style icon,” a source well in the know with negotiations says for Star, as cited by Digital Spy.

If this goes through, Victoria will most likely pose for Annie Leibovitz, who also did the shoot of Demi Moore when she was 7-month pregnant for Vanity Fair back in 1991.

“Although nothing’s been officially signed yet, Victoria would want to be sure she’s the [hottest] pregnant woman to ever grace a magazine cover. It will be a huge boost to her career from a fashion point of view,” the source adds.

The other day, while arriving at Heathrow Airport, Victoria offered paparazzi the chance to snap the first set of pictures of her pregnant – unfortunately, her baby bump was barely visible, as we also informed you.

Over the weekend, word got out online that she and husband David Beckham were expecting a daughter.
