Having once said that she would not be caught dead in sneakers or at the gym, Victoria Beckham somehow made a reputation for herself of being thin without actually doing much in this sense. It's not quite so, she reveals now.

Eight months ago, the former singer turned successful fashion designer gave birth to her fourth child, her first daughter, Harper Seven.

She might not have gained that much weight while pregnant (and the photo attached to this article can confirm it, because she's pregnant in it), but she still had to put in a lot of effort to get back in shape.

To lose the pregnancy pounds, Victoria trained intensively for six days a week, she says in an interview with the latest edition of Vogue.

“I worked out a lot. I ran a lot. I did it six days a week. I become quite obsessive when I get into something,” she reveals.

To make sure she got into the best shape possible as quickly as possible, Victoria also turned to celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson for help, famous for her client list, which includes the likes of Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow and Cheryl Cole.

Anderson came up with a workout plan for Victoria, which she followed closely, she says.

In the same interview, the busy mother of four also opens up a bit about her hectic schedule and how she manages to accomplish so much in a single day.

While she oversees every aspect of her many businesses, Victoria insists the central point in her life is her family, and everything else revolves around it.

“I'll work early in the morning and then I'll work late at night but once England and New York go to bed, I have a little bit of time here,” she says.

“David and I make sure our schedules revolve around the kids. Because we are really focused on what we do workwise it allows us to be balanced,” Victoria adds.
